Dr. Tyler Schnitzler, DC
Chiropractor, Founder of Active Reload
Dr. Tyler Schnitzler, a Pennsylvania native, earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, majoring in Kinesiology. He then went on to attend New York Chiropractic College where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating with honors.

While in high school, chiropractic and physical therapy were there to help Dr. T recover from a shoulder injury he sustained in football and get him back on the field for his senior year. This sparked his interest in the human body and helping others get back to the activities they love.
While continuing to stay very active over the years, Dr T understands the demands placed on the body and the care needed to have it perform at its best. His goal is to not only help his patients get out of pain, but to solve the root cause of the pain and then continue to educate them on how to prevent future injury and keep them living the active life they love.
In practice, Dr. T takes a full body, functional approach when treating his patients, originally using SFMA to find the root cause of the patients pain. He then utilizes a variety of techniques such as diversified adjusting, soft tissue therapy, IASTM, dry needling, cupping, Kinesiotaping (RockTape), Voodoo flossing, and corrective exercise to not only restore patients to their pre-complaint state, but to optimize their overall function afterwards.
Dr. T is excited to provide care to residents of the Northern Virginia area. In his free time, other than working out, he enjoys anything outdoors: hiking, biking, fishing/hunting, and a good ski trip. He also enjoys brewing his own beer, hanging out with his girlfriend Shelby and his two dogs Bauer and Hudson, and cheering on his Penn State Nittany Lions. WE ARE…
